Zofia has been painting for over 25 years mainly with oils on canvas. She received a Master of Arts from Montclair State University in NJ, majoring in painting and figurative drawing. Zofia studied abroad in Poland and travelled to Italy twice to paint the landscape. More recently, she completed a series of large landscape paintings depicting vast beaches, skies, clouds and dunes inspired by the beautiful beaches on the Outer Banks of North Carolina.

Zofia lived in Cape Hatteras for almost ten years where she opened her own Art Gallery in the town of Avon, NC. Zofia’s Art Gallery was both an art studio and gallery where artists of all ages could join in and take part in a day of painting while vacationing on the outer banks. After moving to Leesburg, VA, Zofia continues to paint the landscape around her. Her works are available for viewing by appointment and are on display in local galleries and businesses on the outer banks and in Virginia.
Zofia’s love for the arts continues to be her focus. Her lively spirit and love of life are driving forces behind her artworks. Zofia is looking forward to another productive year of creating new paintings and inspiring others to paint and create artworks.
